Hair Wall is an attempt to capture individual personality and the passing of time.  It explores a variety of approaches to wrapping up my hair collection, gathered over a decade from friends and family. In an earlier version, which had about 200 pieces, each was labeled with the date cut and its owner’s name. As many of my own haircuts are included, the installation, now four rows of 20, is interspersed with smaller “self-portraits,” documenting moments and narratives from this ten-year period of my life.
